The awakening to our Christ identity can be seen as a kind of initiation, a deep transformational experience enhanced by intention and ritual. This Advent Season, we will embark on such a journey, incorporating the Burning Bowl and Candle Lighting Ceremonies, communion, and the anointing of oil. Embraced in the potency of the season, we become the Christ, enfolding the world in love newly.
“I said: What about my heart? He said: Tell me what you hold inside it? I said: Pain and sorrow. He said: Stay with it. The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
~Rumi
One could reasonably argue that there is great pain and suffering in the world right now and it seems that the solution is to eliminate the circumstances from whence they came.
But for hearts that hold that there is only love in the face of all appearances, pain is an invitation to see the light that the wound, by its very existence, is inviting us to behold for the first time. We are being invited to enter a sacred portal to the divine.
Join us for this first Sunday of Advent, as together we look upon our world newly. We will behold the face of God beyond appearances and embrace our walk in life with the light heartedness and curiosity our new found courage affords us.
In a climate of great uncertainty, polarity of thinking and a crying out for healing on a global scale, our Sunday Experience offers the inspiring message that the fundamental nature of the Universe and all beings is Goodness and Love.
“Love is the energizing elixir of the Universe – the cause and effect of all Harmony”
~ Rumi
Our universal message honors the spiritual traditions while incorporating the teachings of leading age thinkers and philosophers.
