The methodologies we use, at the human level, to navigate our lives can often be boiled down to how we negotiate power. When we equate individuation with separation, in order for one to win, another must lose. The spiritual journey turns this way of thinking on its head and we find that what is gentle can be strong and what is done in service to the many, feeds the one. In this six-week series, we will reexamine the meaning of truth and power, ultimately discovering love’s true weight in the world.
Have you noticed that everyone seems to be walking around with a different “truth” these days? In a world run amok with conspiracy theories, fake news, and polarized views on even the most basic scientific facts, it can often feel like the very ideal of truth is slipping through our fingers.
But, as spiritual seekers, it’s important to remember that just because truth is under attack, it doesn’t mean it’s out of reach.
Indeed, one of the most tangible impacts of spiritual awakening is the way it propels us beyond bias and ego defense into a clear seeing of a love-based reality, enabling us to discern truth with a big “T” from what is true with a small “t”.
This Sunday we will explore what it really means to live a life committed to Truth in a world captivated by illusion.
We will examine the inner mechanisms at work that often hide the truth from us, and discover how in overcoming them, we step into a life of profound alignment with Love. If you’ve been wondering what ever happened to truth, or how you can find the strength to cut through your own ego defenses, I invite you to join us.
In a climate of great uncertainty, polarity of thinking and a crying out for healing on a global scale, our Sunday Experience offers the inspiring message that the fundamental nature of the Universe and all beings is Goodness and Love.
“Love is the energizing elixir of the Universe – the cause and effect of all Harmony”
~ Rumi
