The awakening to our Christ identity can be seen as a kind of initiation, a deep transformational experience enhanced by intention and ritual. This Advent Season, we will embark on such a journey, incorporating the Burning Bowl and Candle Lighting Ceremonies, communion, and the anointing of oil. Embraced in the potency of the season, we become the Christ, enfolding the world in love newly.

Sacred Silence: The Inward Spiral

The spirit of the winter solstice is captured symbolically by the inward spiral. It is the energy of journeying within towards an inner light that is inextinguishable by any measure of darkness it may encounter. We then turn and become this mighty light newly in the world. This is truly the hero’s journey, demonstrated so magnificently by our brother Jesus Christ.

Join us this Sunday for a special Taizé service as we take this journey of the inward spiral. Together, we will discover love unfolding within a sacred silence that is always speaking.
